In this workshop, you will learn how to make your own immune-boosting tincture from a combination of traditional North American and Chinese tonic herbs. Making your own herbal extracts is an empowering feeling! At Remedy, we want to empower you with the knowledge to care for yourself and your loved ones.
In this workshop, our clinical herbalists will guide you through the process of creating a ‘home-made’ herbal tincture from start to finish.
You will:
- Learn how to make a ‘home-made’ herbal tincture
- Know the basics of how herbal extraction works
- Understand how certain herbs works together in an immune-boosting formula
- How to dose and work with the medicine you make
- The difference between tonics and acute remedies
- Participants will each take home an herbal extract that they have made.
All materials and handouts will be provided for, just show up curious and ready to learn!
*If you are avoiding alcohol, an alternative can be provided upon request.

In this class, you will learn about hormone changes that occur in perimenopause and postmenopause and how these changes can affect how you feel. We will review the use of bioidentical replacement therapy, including the benefit and side effects. We will also highlight other natural products that can be used to relieve some of the symptoms that occur during this transition. This class is offered in-person (limited space) and online streaming via zoom. Light refreshments will be served.
